Bouamama calls for the treatment of existing imbalances at the level of printing

On Monday, the Minister of Communication, Zuhair Bouamama, chaired a coordination meeting with the Director General of the Printing Company for the center, the General Director of the Algerian Paper and the description of the state’s contributions to the press and communication, according to a statement of the ministry.

This meeting came as a continuation of the series of coordination meetings that the Minister of Communication began with the sector’s officials.

The meeting was a “opportunity to present the concerns of officials of these institutions, which centered on the problem of securing the stockpile inventory of the newspaper to cover the needs of the next stage, the critical financial situation experienced by these presses and updating the perceptions presented to restructure the printing institutions, similar to the National Printing Company project as a university institution,” the statement adds.

By the way, Bouamama stressed “the need to accelerate the completion of this path”, expressing “his full willingness to consider the preoccupations offered and work together to find appropriate solutions to them,” he continues the same source.

In conclusion, the minister called for “serious thinking in finding practical, feasible and innovative solutions that would address the imbalances at the level of printing presses,” according to the statement.

On the other hand, the Minister of Communication, Zuhair Bouamama, had supervised, a few days ago, the work of a training workshop for the benefit of journalists on: the role of the media in protecting the rights of the child.

This workshop was organized by the Ministry of Communication, in coordination with the United Nations Children’s Fund in Algeria.

This training session aims to enhance Algeria’s efforts in protecting childhood and devoting the role of the media to raise awareness of its rights.

This training session was known to attend the National Commissioner for Child Protection, Maryam Sharafi, and the President of the National Council for Human Rights, Abdul Majeed Zaalani, as well as a number of directors of media institutions.
