Algeria has taken new measures to ensure and promote people with special needs, by supporting national and local associations of a social and humanitarian nature entitled in 2025.
In a statement, the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues stated that, as an embodiment of the instructions of the Minister of Solidarity, Moulouji, aimed at activating the activities of the collective movement of a social and humanitarian nature, and supporting its projects that flow within the axes of the sectoral program, directed the national solidarity sector to announce to support national and local societies of a social and humanitarian nature in Algeria entitled the year 2025.
The same interests added that its projects fall within the ruler goals, which are supporting the centers for sponsoring and promoting people with special needs, supporting the auxiliary centers through work, protected workshops, pedagogical farms for people with special needs in adults, contributing to the promotion and integration of women economically and socially.
The joint -stock projects also include, in childhood, adolescent and youth sponsorship programs, in a difficult situation, support for women and elderly people, help at home for the benefit of elderly people, and people with special needs support and guarantee psychological, social accompaniment.
The Ministry indicated that on the basis of this, the interests of the national solidarity sector received the files of support projects, and the works of the committee established to study the projects submitted to accept 56 files of a collective project out of 79 files that include projects for societies marching for social institutions, social medical, pedagogical farms, assistance centers through work, projects for social associations that are concerned with persons with special needs, childhood and women’s issues And the family, as well as associations concerned with elderly people.
These efforts come within the framework of the strategy of the national solidarity sector, the family and women’s issues in the field of supporting associations of a social and humanitarian nature, where the process combines financing, consulting, capacity building and the embodiment of educational and awareness educational programs, with a focus on developing the role of associations as effective institutions in community service and achieving sustainable development.
