Bogalf inspects the measures to combat forest fires in the west of the country – New Algeria

The Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualam Bouglav, continues his field visits to inspect the readiness of units Civil protection To confront forest fires, as his current tour included the states of Chlef, Glizan and a camp, to determine the effectiveness of the approved organizational and logistical measures to deal with this type of natural risk.

The statement of the General Directorate of Civil Protection confirmed that these visits, which extend over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday, fall within the second stage of the field inspection program, after the first stage included the eastern region, including Al -Taref, Khanshleh, Umm Al -Baqi andConstantine Bejaia, during the period from 19 to 23 July.

The current round aims to assess the extent of human and logistical resources recruitment, especially the removable frames and regional support, and air means for rapid intervention in extinguishing FiresIn addition to inspecting various operational units, coordination centers, and advanced intervention points adjacent to the forest areas.

Colonel Bolgfaf also examined the technical gear devoted to confront forest fires, including digital platforms for disaster management, beach guard devices, and the running of important events, stressing in the same context the need to improve sectoral environmental coordination mechanisms, and raise the degree of readiness with local directorates, by issuing direct field instructions for officials in the field.

The General Directorate of Civil Protection renewed its commitment to protecting forest wealth and the safety of citizens and their property, calling on everyone to be vigilant and immediately reporting any beginning of a fire, and strict commitment to safety and safety measures.
