The Ministry of Commerce organizes field campaigns to prevent food poisoning during the summer – Algerian dialogue

Control agents of the Ministry of Internal Trade and control the national market, in coordination with the various sectors concerned, continue to organize field awareness and awareness campaigns for the benefit of citizens and economic dealers across the various states of the country, within the framework of preventing food poisoning during the summer season, according to it, today, Saturday, a statement of the ministry.

The source pointed out that these campaigns fall within the national program to prevent food poisoning for the summer, under the slogan: “Together for a summer without food poisoning”.

These initiatives aim to enhance collective awareness of the importance of respecting the conditions of hygiene and food safety, especially in light of the high temperatures that raise the risk of food poisoning resulting from poor preservation, preparation or random presentation of rapid materials, adds the statement.

These campaigns include inspection visits to beaches, shops, restaurants, seasonal stalls, drinks and ice cream points, in addition to organizing direct meetings with citizens to provide practical advice on sound food behaviors, and encourage them to report any violations that threaten their health and safety.

In the same context, the ministry affirmed that these preventive operations will continue throughout the summer season, in coordination with the various security sectors, such as the police and the national gendarmerie, to ensure a safe summer season and free of food poisoning.

On this occasion, the Ministry called on all citizens and dealers to enlist and engage in these collective efforts to preserve public health.
