She added that “this aggression is a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and Security Council Resolution 2231, as well as a blow to the nuclear spread system, especially from a permanent membership in the Security Council,” calling on the United Nations, the Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency “to move urgent to confront this violation”, warning of “the dangers of silence from this crime.”
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also blamed the International Atomic Energy Agency Administration “for its clear bias, which contributed to paving the way for this aggression,” calling on the Security Council to hold an emergency session to condemn the aggression and hold the United States accountable for its violations.
