The Independent National Authority for Audiovisual Control issued a statement regarding the promotion of a number of websites of false data and misleading contents dealing with the regional and international contexts by involving Algeria in non -institutional analyzes and speculation through a letter that clearly falls within the tools of the fourth and fifth generation wars and is based on speculation and delusions without any basis or reliable source.
In this context, the control authority strongly condemned this type of artificial intimidation, warning against the drifting behind these malicious contents that lack the minimum professional standards and promote speeches that threaten public tranquility and confuse national public opinion through guided propaganda that serve foreign agendas known to employ rumors as a tool to weaken morale and undermine confidence in state institutions and cultivate confusion among citizens.
The same body stated that the content of this is lacking the most basic rules of investigation and investigation is a flagrant violation of Executive Decree No. 24-250, which determines the provisions of the general conditions book imposed on audiovisual communication services, especially Article 5, which requires the visual audio communication service to respect several principles, including national sovereignty, national unity, national territory unit, security, national defense, public order, as well as economic interests and foreign policy of the state Algerian.
It also emphasized the application of the provisions of Article 34 of Law 23-20 regulating the audiovisual activity in the event that the provisions of public and private conditions are not respected and the visual hearing communication operators are subjected to administrative follow-up under the provisions of the eighth chapter of this law.
The legally authorized body to protect the audiovisual communication space from deviations, all the audiovisual institutions, called for responsibility, high vigor and commitment to objectivity and professionalism in dealing with such sensitive issues.
She also stressed the need to take care of the careful investigation of the choice of political analysts known for their efficiency and objectivity and refrain from hosting uncharged voices that lack experience or sliding in emotional and misleading analysis, stressing that it will not hesitate to take the necessary legal and organizational measures against every institution that proves its intention to spread collective intimidation in order to preserve national unity and respect for public opinion and guarantee For the credibility of the national media.
Finally, the same body confirmed that the strong Algeria with its institutions and people will not be frightened by the interference campaigns or propaganda delusions, and the national media will remain an active partner in defending the constants and in the service of the public good.
