Algeria is participating in seven athletes in the fifty -third edition of the World Gymnastics Championship, scheduled from 19 to 25 October in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
Algeria will be represented by five athletes in the men’s category, namely: Adam Qaghtat, Hossam El Din Hamdoush, Bilal Balawi, Youssef Samani and Ahmed Riad Eliot, in addition to the champion of the Olympic Algeria Olympic and her colleague Siham Hamidi in the women’s category.
According to the national radio, the tournament will know the participation of 483 athletes representing 82 countries, which makes the competition strong and promising in this great global date.
