1,672 trainees graduated in preparation for work in re-education in prisons – Algerian Al-Hiwar newspaper

The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Lotfi Boudjemaa, will supervise tomorrow, Monday, the National School for Prison Administration Staff in Qalaia, the graduation ceremony of the main batches of officers, officers, and re-education assistants, after completing an intensive 12-month training program.
The batches included 1,672 trainees, including 55 main re-education officers, 88 re-education officers, and 1,529 re-education assistants. They underwent training that combined theory and practical application, reflecting the needs of reform and development in penal institutions.
The program aims to strengthen prison management in accordance with modern standards, and develop educational, health and psychological activities for detainees, in preparation for their social reintegration, with full compliance with international human rights standards.
